Summertime…and the livings easy

I had a fantastic chance to go out and support the Long Beach Summer Music festival at their kick off party yesterday, hosted by Fingerprint owner Rand.  I am not sure what his last name is.  He owns the awesome record store next to where I work.  You should definitely check out their website because they are constantly having free shows, just last week Everest played…

 It was all very spontaneous and amazing.  We were sitting on the waterfront enjoying sushi and stellar coconut shrimp.  More than anything it was just amazing to see all the talent that is so palpable in Long Beach, musicians, poets, actors, non profit organizations, art, life!  I was thrilled to just sit back and chill, looking forward to the summer that lies ahead.  If you aren’t feeling it, come out to Long Beach and check out what they are up to, there’s plenty of love to go around.
